The ongoing war on Gaza and confrontations with the Lebanese Resistance on the northern front has caused a shortage of ammunition and supplies within the Israeli occupation forces’ arsenal, Al Mayadeen news channel reported on Saturday, citing Israeli broadcaster Kan.
The situation has prompted representatives of the Zionist regime to visit the US State and Defense Departments to seek US assistance, particularly in terms of weapons and ammunition, it added.
The occupation’s military has recently begun to deploy older armored vehicles, including tanks and armored personnel carriers.
