Iran, Algeria ink document on economic, technological cooperation

Tehran, IRNA – Iran and Algeria have signed a document that will facilitate further cooperation between the two countries on economic, scientific and technological areas.

The document was signed in Algiers on Sunday between Iran’s Vice President for Science, Technology and Knowledge-based Economy Rouhollah Dehghani Firouzabadi and Algeria’s Minister of Knowledge Economy, Startups, and SMEs Yacine El-Mahdi Oualid.

The agreement will include sharing achievements and innovative experiences for promoting economic value creation in both countries, sustainable cooperation and helping the enhancement and progress of economy, science and innovation.

Under the terms of the agreement, Iran and Algeria are expected to form a joint scientific and technological cooperation committee which will hold rotating sessions in Tehran and Algiers.
