“Our security is not relied on foreign countries and conventional powers in the world. Our security has been established at the hands of our people, powerful armed forces, and the Law Enforcement," the president said on Monday at the graduation ceremony of students of Imam Hassan Mojtaba Police Training and Officer University in Tehran.
He also said the armed forces are an honor for the country as they are self-reliant, vigilant and courageous in light of directions by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
Elsewhere in his remarks, the president said that the Iranian nation is determined to powerfully continue the path of progress despite enemies’ obstructionism and seditions.
Raisi also praised the Iranian people for playing their roles in the country’s affairs, saying that people’s role is significant.
He also expressed gratitude for people’s high turnout in the Friday elections for parliament and the Assembly of Experts, and thanked the police forces for ensuring security during the elections.
Raisi, meanwhile, promised that his administration will continue to strengthen the armed forces.
