Yemen says will continue striking British ships in Red Sea

Tehran, IRNA – Yemen's Deputy Foreign Minister Hussein al-Ezzi has threatened that his country will continue with its attacks on British ships.

His threat comes a day after a British ship sank at the Red Sea due to strikes by the Yemeni armed forces.

He said that London is in a war against Yemen and is also supporting the Zionist atrocities in Gaza Strip, adding that any other attack on Yemen will be added to the list of Britain’s mistakes.

The British-owned M/V Rubymar ship, which was targeted by the Yemeni Army 13 days ago, has reportedly sunk in the Red Sea.

The cargo ship had 41,000 tons of pesticides on board.

Yemen’s attacks against Zionist and Zionist-linked ships began several weeks ago in retaliation for the regime’s crimes against Gazan people.

The Arab country has pledged to keep its maritime siege against the Zionist regime as long as the war in Gaza continues.
