Hezbollah missiles rain down on Israeli targets

Tehran, IRNA – Lebanon’s Hezbollah resistance movement has targeted several Israeli positions with missiles in the occupied Palestinian territories in support of defenseless people in the Gaza Strip and in retaliation for the regime’s attacks on southern Lebanon.

In its latest attack, Hezbollah targeted Kiryat Shamona settlement located in the north of the occupied territories, according to the Palestinian Shehab news agency.

20 rockets were fired at the Zionist settlement overnight, the report said, adding that the Lebanese resistance group also precisely hit Azurit barracks with Burkan missiles.

Separately, Hezbollah fighters once again stuck Israel’s Beit Hillel Battalion of the 769th Eastern Regional Brigade with Katyusha rockets.

Israel media have confirmed simultaneous Hezbollah operations and numerous rocket attacks on the positions of the Israeli army.

The Russian news agency, Sputnik, also reported Hezbollah's missile attack on eight positions of the Israeli army as well as destruction of a tank across Lebanon’s southern borders.

A day ago, two Hezbollah missiles landed in the western Gilalee region, according to the Beirut-based Al-Ahed news website.

Israeli media outlets confirmed that sirens sounded in barracks located in the same region.

The regime on Saturday also carried out artillery attacks on several towns in southern Lebanon but there were no reports on possible casualties in each side.

Hezbollah and Israel have been engaged in clashes at Lebanon’s southern border since the regime launched its genocidal war on Gaza in early October.

The resistance fighters have mainly targeted Israeli military positions but the Zionist regime has even targeted residential areas in Lebanon causing the death of civilians.

The Lebanese movement says its attacks on the northern Israeli-occupied territories are aimed at providing support to Palestinian resistance fighters battling the regime on the southern front in Gaza.
