Al-Zeidi made the comment in an exclusive interview with IRNA on Wednesday on the sidelines of the 24th edition of the Iran Media Expo underway in Tehran.
He said that sympathy and solidarity with the people of Gaza are not limited to Arab and Islamic nations, citing worldwide mass rallies as an example in this regard.
The issue of Palestine is now an issue of morality, which is about a nation subjected to an unprecedented act of genocide, the Iraqi journalist added.
He also spoke about the role of Islamic countries in defending the oppressed people of Gaza at the international level.
Al-Zeidi said that people in those countries have been voicing support for Gaza since the beginning of the war in early October, but their governments, expect for Iran and Iraq, have not taken a firm stance despite the fact that they have the power to put pressure on the US and the Zionist regime to stop the ongoing crimes in Gaza.
Also in his remarks, the Iraqi journalist described the Iran Media Expo as an official and even popular activity in support of the Palestinian people and Gaza.
