He told reporters on Saturday that the Sports Ministry is not opposed to the presence of women in stadiums but it is up to Tamin Council of each province -- a body operating under provincial governor generalships and tasked with making decisions on security issues -- to decide on the issue.
The presence of women in stadiums would require necessary infrastructures to ensure preserving their dignity, the minister said.
He said that in some stadiums, conditions have not been provided for the presence of women.
