According to a report late on Tuesday by Palestine's Sama news agency, the protesters chanted slogans against Netanyahu and called for putting an end to the war against Palestinians in Gaza.
The demonstrators also expressed opposition to Israel's ongoing attacks against the city of Rafah in southern Gaza.
Netanyahu recently announced that the ground invasion of Rafah will begin within the next two weeks, sparking condemnation from around the world, including from the regime’s American and European supporters.
Israel launched its genocidal war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, under the pretext of responding to a surprise operation by the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas.
