According to a Tuesday report by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), Sudani made the remarks on Monday during a visit to Iraq's Wadi al-Tharthar line, an area which extends from Salah al-Din Desert all the way to western Nineveh province and where the terrorist groups were once operating.
"We are faced with a deserved end to the presence of the international coalition in Iraq, and after ending the tasks of the international coalition, the potentials must be provided to address defects, if any," he said.
"All outlets through which the terrorists thinks of causing a security disruption must be cut off," said the prime minister.
Sudani, who also serves as Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Iraq, conducted a field and aerial inspection of the military units stationed along the Wadi al-Tharthar line.
