Zhiltsov appointed as Russia’s consul general in Iran’s Isfahan

Zhiltsov replaced Boris Burmistrov upon a decree issued by the Ministry on Monday.

Born in 1962, Zhiltsov has served in various roles in the Russian Foreign Ministry and in the country’s diplomatic missions since 1991, including as consul general in Mumbai. He is fluent in English and Arabic.
