In a message on his page on the X on Monday, Amirabdollahian reacted to Israel’s overnight bombardment of Rafah, where hundreds of thousands of Palestinian refugees displaced by Israeli war on Gaza are living.
He said Israel should await harsh consequences if its war crimes and genocide expands to Rafah.
More than 28,000 people have been killed in Gaza since early October when the Israeli regime launched its aggression on the enclave.
Sources say the regime is planning to launch a ground offensive into Rafah despite growing international criticisms that the move could significantly deteriorate the humanitarian situation in Gaza.
