Enemies’ hostility to Iran due to country’s justice-seeking: Envoy

Tehran, IRNA – The Iranian ambassador to Uzbekistan has said that enmity with the Islamic Republic is because of the fact that the Iranian nation seeks justice and independence, especially when it comes to supporting the rights of the Palestinian people.

Mohammad-Ali Eskandari made the remarks at a ceremony to commemorate the 45th victory anniversary of Iran’s Islamic Revolution, which was held in Uzbekistan’s capital city Tashkent on Wednesday. A number of Uzbek officials, foreign diplomats, and journalists attended the ceremony.

Eskandari said that ill-wishers will continue to hinder the development of Iran, but the Iranian government and people will increase their efforts to pursue knowledge-oriented progress.

According to the diplomat, the Iranians are on the right side of history and echo the message of justice and humanitarian values.

He also highlighted the significant position of the Islamic Republic in promoting culture, science, technology, economy, agriculture, and politics.
