35,000 Palestinians killed in Gaza: Rights monitor

Tehran, IRNA-The European-Mediterranean Human Rights Watch, in its latest report, puts the overall death toll in the Gaza Strip as a result of the continuous Israeli airstrikes and shelling to 35,000.

The Palestinian Sama news agency has cited the latest statistics released by Euro-Med Human Rights watch that says the number includes those presumed dead under the rubble of the bombed-out buildings.

“13,000 of the dead in Gaza are children”, the report said.

According to a European NGO, roughly 110,000 Palestinians have been reported killed, missing, or injured in Gaza since Israel launched its war on the Palestinian coastal strip.

On Sunday, the Gaza Health Ministry announced that 107 more Palestinians were martyred in the last 24 hours, pushing the number of Palestinians confirmed dead to 27,238 since October 7.

The ministry added that some of the victims are still under the rubble and invading Israeli forces are preventing them from providing relief.

The Palestinian resistance movement, Hamas, launched an operation dubbed “Al-Aqsa Storm" in response to decades of Israeli atrocities across Palestine.

The Zionist regime initiated a full-scale genocidal war on Gaza with the US backing, making the Palestinians’ operation a pretext.
