A few days ago, Deputy Foreign Minister for Consular, Parliamentary, and Iranian Expatriates Affairs Alireza Bigdeli said in an interview with IRNA that the Foreign Ministry had already notified relevant bodies of the cabinet’s executive order on dropping visa requirements for citizens of 28 countries.
The citizens of those 28 countries, who travel to Iran for tourism purposes, do not need to get a visa as of February 4, 2024, he added.
