Palestine's Sama news agency has quoted Israeli sources as saying that a missile apparently launched from southern Lebanon early Sunday struck an area in the Upper Galilee region.
Some sources said that at least 10 rockets were fired toward the Upper Galilee and that loud explosions were heard in the area.
The reported missile strike comes just a day after Hezbollah announced, in a statement, that it had targeted the Zionist regime's spy facilities in the Galilee region, located in the north of occupied Palestine.
“Espionage systems of the Zionist regime located in the Al-Jalil region in the north of occupied Palestine with the Burkan missiles’, the statement said, adding that the attack was successful and the target was directly hit.
The Lebanese resistance group has targeted Israeli military positions in recent weeks as part of its support for the Palestinian resistance in the Gaza Strip, where Israeli assaults have killed more than 26,000 people in relentless bombing and shelling campaign.
The Israeli regime started its the genocidal war on Gaza on October 7 after Hamas carried out a historic operation against the occupying entity in retaliation for its decades-long atrocities against the Palestinian people.
