During a visit to Iran’s House of Innovation and Technology on Wednesday, the Algerian parliamentarian stressed the need for efforts to boost cooperation in all areas, especially in science and technology.
Kharfi, who is the head of the Parliamentary Friendship Group between Algeria and Iran, is in Tehran at the head of a parliamentary delegation for talks with Iranian officials.
During a meeting with Kharfi, Amir Hossein Mirabadi, the caretaker of the Center for International Scientific and Technological Interactions in the Iranian Vice President’s Office for Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, expressed hope that the visit would be a starting point for technology exchanges between Iran and Algeria.
