Reza Najafi, Deputy Foreign Minister for legal and international affairs, made the remarks in the fifth meeting of the foreign ministers of the Group of Friends in Defense of the Charter of the United Nations, which was held on the sidelines of the Non-Aligned Movement summit in Kampala, Uganda.
The deputy FM underlined on Friday that the member states of the Group of Friends in Defense of the Charter of the United Nations are responsible for condemning military attacks by the Israeli regime and its ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people.
Najafi urged the member states of the group to support South Africa’s well-argued case before the International Court of Justice (ICJ) against the Israeli regime.
