US envoy angry with Iran’s attack on Mossad center in Iraq's Erbil

Tehran, IRNA – The United States Ambassador to Iraq Alina Romanowski has shown her anger in reaction to Iran’s missile attacks on a Mossad espionage center in Iraq’s Erbil city as well as the strikes against American headquarters.

According to Tigris TV channel, Romanowski claimed on her X (formerly Twitter) account that Iran attacked “civilians,” while using the word civilians for Mossad agents. She also described the recent strikes as reckless and indiscriminate.

The ambassador also condemned drone attacks on positions near the Erbil International Airport, which were carried out in response to Washington’s all-out support for the Israeli regime’s atrocities in the Gaza Strip as well as the United States air strikes against the Islamic Resistance in Iraq.

Romanowski called the retaliatory attacks, which have been in line with international laws when it comes to self-defense, “clear violations of Iraq’s sovereignty.”

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) announced early on Tuesday that it had targeted the espionage headquarters of the Israeli regime in Iraq’s semi-autonomous Kurdistan region with ballistic missiles as part of an operation against anti-Iran terror groups and networks in the region.
