Kanaani said on Sunday that the Islamic Republic of Iran once again voices its strong support for China’s right to defend its national sovereignty and territorial integrity.
He made the remarks when asked by reporters to comment about the results of the elections in Taiwan.
Noting that respecting the territorial integrity and national sovereignty of other countries is a main principle of Iran’s foreign policy, he underlined Tehran’s support for China's reunification based on peaceful development on both sides of the strait.
