In a statement issued on Friday evening, the Iraqi resistance said it had hit a military target in the occupied territories near the Jordan River Parkway earlier in the day.
“The Islamic Resistance reaffirms that it will continue to conduct attacks against enemy positions,” it said.
It came hours after the Lebanon-based al-Mayadeen television channel reported that the target was hit in a retaliatory move just after the United States and Britain launched attacks against Yemen.
In another statement late on Friday, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq said it had struck a “vital” Israeli target in Eilat (occupied Umm al-Rashash), putting it out of service.
The Iraqi resistance has repeatedly pounded US and Israeli targets in support of the people of Gaza since the Zionist regime launched a devastating war on the besieged territory in early October.
