Dr. Ahmad Mahdavi told IRNA on Tuesday evening that all those injured in the explosion have been transferred to hospitals, some in critical conditions.
“Overall, the general condition of most of the injured is stable, and they are receiving necessary medical care,” he said.
Mahdavi added, "Immediately after the incident, emergency rescue teams from Alborz Province arrived at the scene and began rescue operations."
An investigation into the exact cause of the explosion is underway.
