The team of Iranian freestyle wrestlers and technical staff that left Tehran late on Monday will compete for quotas of the summer Olympics 2024 in Paris.
Wrestlers selected for the team are as follows:
65 kg: Rahman Amouzad and Abbas Ebrahimzadeh
74 kg: Younes Emami and Hossein Abouzari
79 kg: Mohammad Nokhodi and Abdollah Sheikh A'zami
86 kg: Hadi Vafaeipour
97 kg: Kamran Qasempour and Amirali Azarpira
125 kg: Amirhossein Zare and Amirreza Masoumi

The 2024 Zagreb Open is the first Ranking Series Event of United World Wrestling (UWW) in 2024 and will be held on January 10-14.
The UWW will award some 390,000 Swiss Francs worth of prize money to medal winners in all weight classes of the competition.
Some of the best wrestlers in the world will feature in the men’s freestyle section of the event.
