IRNA quoted SAMANEWS on Sunday that "Asher bin Lulu", the former commander of the "Kafir" brigade of the Zionist regime, announced that the Lebanon’s Hezbollah -Resistance Movement- has targeted the very important strategic airbase in Meron in the north of Palestine on Saturday.
Criticizing the approach of the Israeli regime authorities towards this attack, Bbin Lulu has emphasized that the results of the attack on the Meron airbase remain unclear and is not the right way for deterrence.
According to Hezbollah statement, this attack was part of the first response to the crime of martyrdom of the great leader Saleh al-Aruni, Hezbollah attacked the airbase in Meron with 62 rockets of various types.
The Israeli military said about 40 rockets were fired from Lebanese territory on Saturday morning, January 6, and returned shortly after.
Earlier, Secretary General of Lebanon’s Hezbollah Resistance Movement, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah issued a statement on Friday, January 5, warning Israel that Hezbollah would respond "On the battlefield" over the swift killing of Saleh al-Aruri.
