According to Shehab news agency, Hezbollah declared in a Wednesday statement the attack on the Jal al-Alam base and Zarit Barrack in the border areas between Lebanon and the Israeli-occupied territories.
Hezbollah emphasized that the Israeli military positions were targetted directly and precisely.
The Lebanese resistance movement also said that these attacks are being carried out in support of the Palestinian nation, which is under genocidal strikes by the Israeli regime.
Hezbollah also announced that a Lebanese fighter named Muhammed Hadi Malik Abid was martyred in an attack by Israeli military forces on Baalbek city about 67 kilometers northeast of the capital Beirut.
Following the initiation of the Israeli onslaught in the Gaza Strip on October 7, the Lebanese resistance movement kicked off rocket and missile attacks on Israeli positions in order to make the regime’s forces engaged in northern occupied territories and help decrease pressure on Palestinian resistance fighters in Gaza.
