Yemeni armed forces strike Israel-linked ship in Red Sea

Tehran, IRNA- The Yemeni Armed Forces have targeted a ship linked to the Israeli regime in the Red Sea as part of a campaign of strikes in the strategic waterway in support of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

“In support of the oppression faced by the Palestinian people under invasion and siege, the Yemeni naval forces targetted the ship 'CMA CGM TAGE,' which was heading towards the occupied ports of Palestine,” Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, said in a televised speech on Wednesday.

He added, “This attack occurred after the ship's crew refrained from responding to the calls and warnings of the Yemeni naval forces,”

Saree also emphasized the Yemeni Armed Forces will continue striking Israeli-linked vessels in the Red Sea until the aggression against Gaza comes to a halt.

“The maritime navigation route in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea is secure for all ships worldwide, except those affiliated with Israel,” he said.

He warned that any aggression by the United States will also not go unanswered.
