“Over the past 88 days, the resistance has bravely been on the field, achieving success by thwarting all the illusory goals of the occupying enemy,” Haniyeh said in a speech on Tuesday.
He also commended the media outlets of the Al-Qassam Brigades and other Palestinian groups for broadcasting the heroic resistance of Palestinians in Gaza against the occupiers.
Haniyeh emphasized that the fate of Palestinians, both present and future, will be determined by their own hands.
“The resistance forces have turned the occupiers' tanks into coffins, and the occupying enemy has no way forward except to surrender to the will of the Palestinian people,” he stated.
The Hamas leader also said the Israeli regime’s plot to expel Palestinians from Gaza will never materialize.
Palestinian resistance groups, chief among them Hamas, have put up a heroic fight against Israeli forces in Gaza since the occupying regime unleashed its war machine against the territory on October 7.
At least 22,185 Palestinians have been killed and 57,035 others wounded in Israeli assaults, the Gaza Ministry of Health said.
