Iran president calls for collective measures to stop Zionist crimes in Gaza

Tehran, IRNA – Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has expressed hope that, on the eve of the new Christian year, the international community would take immediate measures to put an end to the Zionist atrocities in Gaza Strip.

In a Christmas message to Pope Francis on Sunday, the Iranian president touched upon the different challenges facing the human kind these days, including the Zionist invasion of Gaza which he said has killed more than 17,000 innocent people.

He said that thinking on the noble qualities of the Jesus Christ and examining and applying the way of life of that Prophet and all the divine prophets can open new ways to the modern people towards perfection.

The President wished health and success for the Pope and prosperity for all the followers of Jesus Christ, praying for the establishment of peace across the world on this auspicious occasion.
