The video shows Deif, the head of the armed wing of Palestine’s Hamas (the Al-Qassam Brigades), in excellent condition and entering his office in Jabalia in the northern Gaza Strip, reported on Saturday by Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation, or Kan.
Israeli newspaper Maariv also said on December 20 that the regime’s military had obtained videos showing the Al-Qassam commander in good condition and walking around with only a slight limp.
According to Maariv, Deif was in a condition different from what the Israeli intelligence had indicated that he needed to use a wheelchair and could only travel in ambulances after he sustained injuries in one of the assassination attempts by the Israeli regime.
Deif has survived seven assassination attempts announced by the Israeli regime, with the last one taking place in 2021. He rarely appears in public. It was only on October 7 when Deif released an audio file, announcing the start of Operation Al-Aqsa Storm against the Israeli regime.
