Cell No. 14 was unveiled during an event attended by diplomats, media figures as well as Portuguese and Iranian researchers in Lisbon, IRNA reported on Saturday.
Iran's ambassador to Portugal, Majid Tafreshi, expressed satisfaction with the translation of the book and emphasized its focus on the theme of resistance.
"Many nations, such as Algeria, Cuba, and South Africa, represented by their ambassadors at this gathering, have achieved their goals through resilience, just as the memories of the Supreme Leader illustrate the triumph of the Iranian Revolution through resistance," he said.
Palestinian Ambassador to Lisbon, Nabil Abu Zneid, highlighted the role of the Islamic Revolution of Iran in supporting the Palestinian resistance.
He discussed the current situation in Gaza, and pointed to the failure of past efforts to end the occupation of Palestine. He called on the international community to support the Palestinian people against bullying by world powers.
Mmamokwena Gaoretelelwe, the South African ambassador, shared experiences of resistance in South Africa.
He stated, “What is happening today for the people of Palestine is understandable for us in Africa. The concept of resistance is crucial for us, and victory for the people of Palestine is certain."
Dignitaries from Cuba and Algeria also gave speeches at the gathering, highlighting the role of resistance in their respective countries and how they believed Palestinians will emerge victorious against the Israeli regime.
Cell No. 14 features memoirs of Ayatollah Khamenei during his struggle against the US-backed Pahlavi regime in Iran.
