“Islamic resistance has so far responded powerfully to acts of aggression by the Israeli regime, and with this trend, the coming days will be very terrible for the Israeli regime,” Amirabdollahian said on Wednesday night in a phone call with Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, the Qatari prime minister and foreign minister.
Both condemned Israeli crimes against Palestinian women and children in Gaza, and called for immediate action by the international community to stop genocide and war crimes in the besieged territory.
The Iranian and Qatari officials also stressed the importance of increasing humanitarian aid sent to Gaza, and voiced support for efforts by UN Chief Antonio Guterres to halt Israel’s attacks.
The Iranian and Qatari foreign ministers have held several phone conversations on Gaza since the Israeli regime began its war on October 7.
The talks are part of diplomatic efforts by Iran to support the Palestinian people and help stop the Israeli genocide.
