During the 19th Iran-Kazakhstan Joint Economic Committee meeting which was held in Tehran on Sunday, Nikbakht expressed satisfaction with the progress of the negotiations of the Joint Commission of Cooperation between the two countries.
Iranian Minister in his remarks added that the negotiations and the obtained results show the will of both sides' officials in the comprehensive development of relations in various fields.
Referring to Iran's progress in different fields, he said that Tehran can expand ties with the other side in agricultural ties such as fisheries, age farming, and shrimp farming in the Caspian Sea and the Persian Gulf.
"A part of Iran's red meat needs, which is now supplied from Brazil, can be replaced with Kazakhstan, Iranian Agriculture Minister added.
The 18th round of Iran-Kazakhstan Joint Economic Committee meeting was held in the Kazakh capital city of Astana on January 24-25.
As reported, the value of Iran-Kazakhstan annual trade rose 20 percent in the past Iranian calendar year (ended on March 20).
