Hamas’ victory and Israel’s defeat

Prime minister of the Zionist regime Benjamin Netanyahu had to deviate from his earlier positions in the Gaza and surrender to a ceasefire despite claims to the opposite.

He had previously claimed that he will not accept any ceasefire and if he does, it will only be for the release of Israeli captives from Gaza.

We can definitely say that the most important reason that forced Netanyahu to withdraw from his positions was the fact that the regime’s ground attacks in Gaza failed permanently.

Israel has not gained any military achievements in the past few weeks during the war in Gaza. It is mainly because attacks on residential areas and innocent people are not considered a tactic of war, but a crime, and the international community and the people in different countries have repeatedly condemned these crimes.

Therefore, the Zionists did not have any achievements in their aerial warfare and also failed to achieve any of their objectives on the ground. They claimed that they would soon eradicate Hamas and enter its tunnels and free the captives. None of these goals were achieved and the Zionists were only able to occupy a few hospitals, which was itself a crime and added to the previous crimes of the regime.

On the other hand, Netanyahu has been facing demands by families of the Israeli captives and feels heavy pressure from this area.

Those families have held protests in recent days, some of them among the largest gathering of opposition forces against Netanyahu in the past months.

Netanyahu's frequent meetings with the captives’ families also show the intensity of the pressure he feels.

The UN Security Council has also called on the Zionist regime as part of a resolution to accept a ceasefire, and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and BRICS have also asked the regime to stop its crimes in Gaza.

The ceasefire is a great achievement for Hamas and Palestinian groups in Gaza.

That is because Israel had claimed that only prisoners would be exchanged as part of a ceasefire, saying it would not allow humanitarian aid to reach people of Gaza.

However, Israel had to finally accept conditions set by Hamas, including the delivery of 500 shipments of humanitarian and medical aid through the Rafah crossing.

This will definitely boost public support and loyalty to Hamas in Gaza in the future.

Despite the fact that Israel has accepted the ceasefire, experience shows that the regime cannot be trusted and there is a possibility that it violates the agreement.

Hamas is also well aware of this fact and knows that the Zionist regime could resume its attacks and crimes after the end of the current ceasefire.

Therefore, the regime must remain under international and military pressure so that the war can end to the benefit of the people of Gaza and Palestine.

Netanyahu knows that a permanent or long-term ceasefire would be tantamount to his political and real death.

He has obviously no place in the political future of the Zionist regime and he can even be tried in courts for various crimes he has committed as many Nazi leaders were during Nuremberg trials.
