The Iranian junior weightlifters bagged five gold medals, nine silvers, and one bronze and scored a total of 660 points at the top sporting event.
This marks Iran’s fifth championship at the Junior World Weightlifting Championships.
The competitions began in Guadalajara, Mexico, on November 15 and ended on November 23.
A total of 229 lifters from 44 countries participated in the prestigious sporting competitions.
