Mostafa Mir-Salim, the representative of Tehran in the Parliament, raised concern over the legal implications of a case involving an Israeli-Emirati company called FRESH FRUITS, which has recently been involved in fruit imports to Iran.
The verdict could lead to the seizure of a trillion rials in favor of FRESH FRUITS.
“Any form of collaboration with the occupying regime in Palestine, whether in the form of importing Israeli goods or benefiting Israeli companies, is explicitly prohibited by law, and if some individuals within the country have engaged in such activities with the misuse of the authorities' lack of awareness, they must be dealt with accordingly,” he told IRNA on Wednesday.
When asked which authority should address the issue, Mir-Salim said that judicial authorities must conduct a thorough investigation to ascertain who has “filed a complaint in domestic courts and what their connections with Zionists might be".
He suggested that the public prosecutor should also intervene in the case in light of the sensitivity of the matter.
