Bagheri Kani met and held talks with Ryabkov in the Iranian capital city of Tehran on Thursday.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed and exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments, including sanctions relief talks.
They also emphasized the continuation of strategic consultations between Tehran and Moscow.
