Iran HR body releases document detailing 86 years of Israeli crimes against Palestinians

Tehran, IRNA – Iran’s High Council for Human Rights has released a document detailing the Zionist regime’s crimes against Palestinians in the last 86 years.

According to the document, the regime has killed more than 100,000 Palestinians, injured hundreds of thousands of others, arrested over one million, displaced more than 7 million Palestinians, and carried out nearly 3,000 terrorist operations in 86 years.

It also points out that more than 40,000 people have been martyred and wounded only since October 7, in the aftermath of the Palestinian resistance’s Operation Al-Aqsa Storm against the regime.

In the same period, more than 33,000 residential buildings and infrastructures have been destroyed in Israeli bombardments of the Gaza Strip, as a result of which 1,400,000 people have been displaced.

Meanwhile, the report explains that the UN General Assembly, Security Council, and Human Rights Council have adopted 512 resolutions against the Zionist regime, while the US has vetoed 55 anti-Israel resolutions.

From 1947 to 2023, the UN General Assembly has approved 183 resolutions regarding the status of the Zionist regime, the Palestinians, and the State of Palestine, some of which condemn the crimes of the Israeli regime and its human rights violations, with the US having opposed most of the resolutions, it says.

The report adds that from 2006 to 2023, the UN Human Rights Council passed 104 resolutions against the Zionist regime.
