Tehran, IRNA – Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi and his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev have met in Uzbekistan on the sidelines of the 16th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO).
The meeting took place in Uzbekistan’s capital Tashkent on Thursday, where the Iranian president arrived earlier in the day.
Uzbekistan is the second leg of a regional tour that earlier took Raisi to Tajikistan where he met top officials, including his counterpart Emomali Rahmon on Wednesday.
