Israeli authorities and settlers are terrified of Hezbollah’s elite Radwan Unit, which receives a great deal of attention from Israeli experts and journalists, read the article published by Rai al-Youm newspaper on Tuesday.
The Arabic-language paper wrote that the army of the occupying regime believes that these forces are going to use the tunnels to liberate Galilee.
It further quoted Yossi Yehoshua, a military correspondent for Israeli daily Yediot Ahronot, as saying that as long as the Radwan Unit is at the Lebanese border, the settlers of northern occupied territories have no hope of returning to their evacuated settlements.
Lebanon’s southern border with the occupied territories has seen soaring tit-for-tat exchanges between Hezbollah and the occupying regime since October 7, when Tel Aviv waged an all-out war on the Gaza Strip in response to a surprise military operation by the Gaza-based Palestinian resistance groups.
Last week, Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah demanded an immediate end to the Zionist regime’s relentless bombardment of Gaza, warning that all options are on the table against Israel.
