Iran's Judiciary tasked with taking measures against massacres in other states

Tehran, IRNA – Lawmakers of the Majlis (Iranian Parliament) have tasked the Judiciary with taking necessary measures against the anti-human crimes committed in other countries.

According to the Majlis decision made during an open session in Tehran on Sunday, Iran’s Judiciary is responsible for fulfilling such a task by giving due testimonies and documents to international sources.

During the session, the lawmakers discussed some parts of Iran’s seventh development plan.

Annex 18 of the seventh development plan says that the Judiciary is responsible for cooperating with Iranian justice and foreign ministries in pursuing human rights crimes including massacre, crime against humanity, terrorism, war crimes, and aggression in other countries particularly in the Western states.

The pursuance will include legal measures whose outcomes will be presented to the related sources inside the country and in the international community, according to Annex 18.
