At 21:00 local time, Abu Hattab, a Palestine TV correspondent, was covering the events of Gaza, after which he returned home to see his children before leaving for Nasser Hospital to cover the events there, but he was killed in an Israeli airstrike.
Ten others were also killed in the deadly strike.
Abu Hattab’s martyrdom brought the number of journalists killed by the Zionist regime since October 7 to 41.
Salman Al Bashir, another Palestine TV correspondent, took off his vest and helmet while giving an on-air report after the martyrdom of Abu Hattab and his family.
“No protection, no international protection at all, no immunity to anything, this protection gear does not protect us and not those helmets,” Al Bashir said, as he removed his own helmet and protective “PRESS” vest.
