Mohammad Tutunchi made the remarks during a meeting with the Egyptian Ambassador to Kuwait Osama Shaltout, the IRNA reported on Thursday.
“The right to self-determination and respect for the fundamental rights of the people under occupation is among international rules recognized in the United Nations Charter,” Tutunchi said.
He added, “But today, the native inhabitants of Palestine are facing crime, genocide, and humiliation at the hands of the occupying regime.”
The Egyptian ambassador, for his part, said the Palestinian people left their homeland in 1948 and 1967 and submitted to the threats of the Zionist regime, but today they are determined to fight and resist.
