-Leader: US ‘definite accomplice’ in Israeli crimes in Gaza
Leader of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said the United States is a “definite accomplice” in the Zionist regime’s crimes against the people of the Gaza Strip.
He made the remarks during a meeting with members of the Lorestan Province’s Martyrs Commemoration Congress on Wednesday, according to Press TV.
Ayatollah Khamenei further said the US is somehow involved in crimes that Israel commits against Palestinians in Gaza.
-Iranian delegation to attend Pakistan Auto Show 2023
During a visit to Pakistan, a 22-member delegation of Iran Union of Automobile Spare Parts Manufacturers and Sellers will discuss deepening ways of cooperation in the automobile sector.
The delegation held a meeting with Ambassador of Pakistan to Iran Muhammad Mudassir Tipu on Tuesday before departure to the country.
This is the first-ever organized visit of representatives of the auto parts industry from Iran to Pakistan, according to a press release by Pakistan Embassy in Iran.
-Iran to construct refinery, power station in Kyrgyzstan
Level of Iran-Russia strategic relations is growing well, said Iranian First Vice President Mohammad Mokhber in his meeting with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin in Bishkek on Wednesday.
Mokhber arrived in Bishkek to attend the meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Council of Heads of Government, fvpresident.ir reported.
Referring to setting of records in bilateral commercial exchange last year, Mokhber emphasized the need to develop economic relations between the two countries in all sectors, calling for removing the obstacles ahead, along with speeding up the process for implementing the previous agreements.

-First VP: SCO Member States Have Great Capacities for Economic Cooperation
Iran’s first vice president Muhammad Mokhber on Wednesday said the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states have great capacities for economic cooperation.
Talking to reporters before departing for Kyrgyzstan to attend a meeting of the organization, Mokhber added the SCO member states have common views with Iran on multipolar world order, confrontation with U.S. sanctions, and expansion of political and economic relations at regional and international levels, which could promise a bright future for regional nations.
-IRGC: Resistance Crushed ‘Fake Zionist Regime’
The spokesman for Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) said Wednesday the occupying regime of Israel has lost face in its recent war with the Palestinian resistance movements.
“Even if the Zionists bomb all of Gaza, their military and security dignity will not return. You can be sure that the resistance fighters who carried out the operation, know the Zionists well,” General Ramezan Sharif said in Boroujen.
General Sharif said the Palestinian resistance “crushed the fake Zionist regime” by its surprise Operation Al-Aqsa Flood as it shattered the Israeli regime’s “fake grandeur”.
-Report: Iran Produces 22.1mn Tons of Steel in 9 Months
The World Steel Association (WSA) in its latest report on has said that Iran produced 22.1 million tons of crude steel in the first nine months of 2023.
According to the report, major steel production companies in the world produced more than 1.4 billion tons of crude steel from January to September 2023, showing a 0.1 percent decline compared to the same period last year.
It said Iran’s steel production volume reached 22.1 million tons from January to September 2023.

-Iran breaking ground on new nuclear power plant
Mohammad Eslami, the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), has announced the start of the construction of a new nuclear power plant in southwest Iran.
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a cabinet meeting on Wednesday, Eslami said, “In the implementation of the 20-year document of the Atomic Energy Organization, the nuclear fuel cycle and the development of mining industry activities are on the agenda. Yesterday, we started the operation of the 12th mine in West Azerbaijan.”
As regards the new power plant, which is called “Karun,” the top nuclear official said, “The construction work of the Karun power plant has started and the contracts for the internal construction of the equipment have been concluded.”

Iran’s president condemned Western backing for the Zionist regime’s atrocities in Gaza as the essence of racism and colonialism.
In a meeting with Niger’s Foreign Minister Bakary Yaou Sangare in Tehran on Wednesday, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi emphasized the Western countries’ hegemonic tactics throughout modern history.
Sangare, on his part, praised Iran’s advancements in a number of fields. He mentioned that his goal in coming to Tehran was to enhance collaboration with Iran and fortify Niger’s amicable relations.
-Illegal Afghan immigrants should immediately leave Iran, interior minister says
Interior Minister Ahmad Vahidi on Wednesday criticized the Taliban for their lack of concern for the issue that has been brought upon Iran with the flood of refugees, stating that undocumented immigrants from Afghanistan have to be expelled from the country.
Vahidi underlined the need to manage the status and activities of Afghan immigrants in Iran while speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a cabinet meeting on Wednesday.
He also said it is vital to prevent an Afghan-phobia as there is a small of criminals in all nations, including Afghans. He added thousands of illegal immigrants have been imprisoned in Iran for various reasons.
The Iranian foreign minister said that Iran has so far deported 200,000 undocumented Afghan citizens, with a number of them having again returned to Iran illegally.
