Dehqan made this remark on the sidelines of the cabinet session on Wednesday, where he revealed that the International Criminal Court (ICC) has announced it lacks the necessary budget to fund these proceedings.
He also addressed Iran’s ongoing dispute with South Korea over delayed payments of 6 billion euros of frozen assets held in South Korean banks. He stated that Iran is awaiting the Central Bank’s final decision on this matter.
In reference to the crimes committed by the Zionist regime in Gaza, Dehqan highlighted the collaborative efforts of various non-governmental organizations, both inside and outside Iran, to uphold the rights of oppressed Palestinians.
He further stated that Islamic governments, along with these organizations and institutions, are prepared to provide the ICC with the necessary funds. This financial support aims to expedite the resolution of the Palestinians’ longstanding complaints regarding genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity.
