“It is not clear whether the strategic patience of the resistance movements will continue in the coming days with the continued attacks of the Zionist regime,” Vahid Jalalzadeh, the chairman of the Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, said during a meeting with Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the Palestinian Hamas resistance movement’s Political Bureau.
Speaking with IRNA’s parliamentary correspondent, Jalalzadeh said that during the meeting he explained the measures taken by the Iranian Parliament in support of the Palestinian resistance group’s Operation Al-Aqsa Storm.
“I stated that all the pillars of the Islamic Republic are united to support Palestine and the resistance front,” he said.
The top Iranian legislator also quoted the Hamas leader as saying that the Palestinian resistance found the Zionist regime to be weaker than it appeared and the operation showed that the occupying entity was doomed to annihilation.
Israel waged a brutal war on the Gaza Strip on October 7 after the Palestinian resistance movement launched Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, a surprise attack on the occupied territories in retaliation for the Israeli regime’s intensified crimes against the Palestinian people.
According to the Palestinian Health Ministry, the Israeli onslaught on Gaza has so far killed more than 5,791 Palestinians, including at least 704 in the past day, and injured 16,297 others.
