According to the Iranian Road and Urban Development Ministry website, Iranian companies are to construct the Agarak-Kajaran Road as part of Tranche 4 of INSTC.
This contract was signed in the presence of Iranian Road and Urban Development Minister Mehrdad Bazrpash and Armenia’s Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures Gnel Sanosyan.
Bazrpash announced Iran's companies' participation in the construction of joint road projects in Armenia, saying that the operation of Armenian road projects is worth $210 million.
