“We, at the Anadolu news agency, condemn the targeting of civilians in Gaza, which is in violation of human rights and international law,” said Karagöz whose news agency is hosting the 51st meeting of OANA’s executive and technical boards in Istanbul.
He expressed regret that journalists have also fallen victim to the Gaza war, saying that 18 journalists have been killed and many more wounded since the conflict began on October 7.
According to Karagöz, the slain journalists included Anadolu reporter Ali Jadullah who was killed in his home in an Israeli bombing.
