According to IRICA, Iran has exported around 20,000 metric tons (mt) of high-quality pistachio nuts which represents a 7% increase compared to the same period last year.
According to the report, some 11% of the total value of Iran's agricultural exports and 0.57% of the total value of non-oil exports during the mentioned period had been pistachio exports.
As much as 57.7% of the total value of Iran's pistachio exports in the first half of the current Iranian year was exported to Russia, Germany, the UAE, India, and Kyrgyzstan.
