Amirabdollahian made his remarks over the phone late on Monday during the talks with Irish Foreign Minister Micheál Martin on the latest developments in Palestine and the aggravation of Zionists’ attacks on Gaza.
Condemning the crimes being committed by the regime in Gaza and the siege of the Strip, Amirabdollahian said the possible expansion of war in other fronts is coming close to be inevitable.
So, it is necessary to establish proper routes to dispatch medical and humanitarian aid to people in Gaza, he added.
Referring to the death toll which is within 300 to 700 for per day, Amirabdollahian called for immediate halt to Zionists’ terrorist acts against the Palestinians.
For his part, the Irish top diplomat expressed concern over expansion of tensions in the occupied lands, then he stressed the need to respect the international human rights during the war.
Martin stressed the necessity of establishment of a corridor to send humanitarian aid to Gaza, noting that expansion of tensions across the region is concerning.
Pointing to Islamic Republic of Iran’s effective role in the region, the Irish foreign minister hoped that Tehran would make proper initiative to relieve tension.
