Speaking to reporters after the three-hour talks between Iran Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian and Head of Palestine’s Hamas Political Bureau Chief Ismail Haniyeh, Khalil al-Hayya said that the the two sides discussed how Islamic states can assist in halting Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people, IRNA reported on Sunday.
We talked about the developments in Palestine, as well as the Zionist regime’s crimes of killing civilians, men, and women, especially the martyrdom of over a thousand women and children, the destruction of houses, and the displacement of the people of Gaza to neighboring countries.
The Hamas official expressed his appreciation for Iran’s support and efforts regarding the Palestinian issue.
He also expressed hope that all countries would help the Palestinian people materialize their dream of acquiring freedom and establishing a Palestinian state with al-Quds as its capital, as well as see the annihilation of the Zionist regime.
