The Iranian mission shared the post on the formerly known social media platform of Twitter on Wednesday, which marks the fifth day of the Zionist regime’s onslaught against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
“The Israeli apartheid perpetrates unspeakable crimes against the Palestinians, yet it shamelessly shifts the blame onto Palestinians for the war crimes it commits against Palestinian women and children. Don't be fooled by the bloodthirsty regime's narrative,” the mission wrote in his post.
On Monday, Iran’s UN mission also issued a statement that blamed the ongoing situation in occupied Palestine on the “longstanding denial of the Palestinian people’s legitimate right to self-determination” as well as the Israeli aggression and desecration of al-Aqsa Mosque.
The statement said that the recent decisions and measures taken by Palestine's resistance are firmly rooted in the fundamental principle of self-determination, which represents “a completely legitimate response to seven decades of oppressive occupation.”
It added that “Iran unwaveringly stands in solidarity with Palestine”, without any involvement in the Palestinian response.
